Bangkok 2012: PreDeparture

Assalamualaikum ...

This is my first travelling trip for the year 2012. I just have my 4-month holiday and my first trip this year will be Bangkok, Thailand.

My plan is to travel from 3rd October from my hometown then I will go to Kuala Lumpur (KL) before take a train to Bangkok.

Have I mention that this time I will travel by land, haven't I? Yes, I will travel by land!

Based on my previous post about BackPacking Stuff, I will pack my stuff by today (2nd October 2012).

I will also update on how much I spend during my trip this time!

So far I've spent:
1. Train ticket from KL to Butterworth worth RM46.00
2. Train ticket from Butterworth to Bangkok (international train) worth RM111.90
3. ONE YEAR travel insurance worth RM338.00, however, I phoned the headquaters of the insurance company before I buy the policy and they agreed to give me 25% off! (Agent price!)

Assalamualaikum ... Well, as usual, i dunt really like and not good writing so, i just put some pictures k ... however, the trip is ok for me ... me myself, the trip is more on surveying ... as I planned to travel to Bangkok next time ... Marine Engineering Bridging Program

Assalamualaikum ... DONE! It would be the best word to describe when I'm done my 2-year training ... 2 years isn't easy path for me to walk through ... Last week, I get back home after a few weeks struggle for my exams ... Theory exam (Oral Exam) at MARDEP Port Kelang ... MSCR exam (Marine Survical Craft & Rescue) at ALAM Melaka ... and a few courses before and after the exams ... Alhamdulillah ... I passed all the exams ... Now, it is the time for me to apply for my CoC (Certificate of Competency) ... 2 years back ... I remembered when one of the staff from my company said ... 'Your Degree is Useless ... You can burn it!' Phewwww! Just put yourself in my shoes ... :p When I was onboard ship ... Some peoples discriminate me and my buddy ... Just because we have a piece of paper ... B.eng Mechanical is nothing to them ... But then, its something to us ... A few cadets argued about how much we earned per month ... Nothing he shared with us ... Help with hidden agenda ...

B.Eng boleh bawak mati!

Assalamualaikum ... I met one of my friends in her campus ... Well, she's a medical student ... Sweet and nice isn't it? or maybe ... COOL! We have been talking about her life and so mine ... Talking about job ... and a comparison about being a doctor and me ... marine engineer ... What maked her impress is the figure that i will received each month ... mmmmm .... i think its tooo selfish to talk about money here ... But what makes me feel stupid about her is ... When she used to say this stupid statement ... "Macam mana ko punya gaji lagi besar dpd aku huh? Padahal kos kau tak adalah susah sangat" Pergh ... What do you think my friends?
