Good Bye SIEM REAP!

Assalamualaikum ...

Ive been three days in Siem Reap, Cambodia ...
I reach there at nite ...
And our free Pick Up service (tuk tuk) fetch us at the Bus Station ...
We used to travelled by Sorya Transport ...
Its the cheapest bus fare we found ...

Three days in Siem Reap doesn't attract me much ...
There are more than 100 guesthouse ...
and more hotels ... so as a traveller u may choose to stay
in a 5-star hotel or a small room that cost you 3 USD per night ...

Since I'm with my travel partner, we stayed in one room ...
15 USD per night includes breakfast ...
Nice stay but a lot of mosquitoes ...

Here, u can use ur USD to pay for anything ...
And all the price are standard ...
Mineral water (big) cost you 1 USD ...
Food (I ate Shrimp + Vege + Rice) cost you 1.25 usd - 1.5 usd ...
and its common to have a glass of shake here ...
It'll cost you 2500 Riel ... (1 USD - 4000 Riel) ...
Most of my time here, I stayed in hotel ...
I don't like the place that full of foreigner (even I'm the foreigner here) ...

Me and fadli, we tried to go the local mosque ...
its already one - two hours ... unluckily we can't found the mosque ...

The best thing about Siem Reap is the Angkor Wat ...
It cost you 20 USD for one day visit ...
however, If u love arts and would like to study more about Angkor Wat,
you may buy the 3-day pass for 40 USD and don't forget to hire a tour guide ...
There are thousands of watt to visit other than Angkor Wat ...
To me, i felt a little bit bored ...
Maybe because of I'm Muslim, I can't differentiate the different between
one and another watt ...
Same goes to non-Muslim I think ... U'll feel bored and can't differentiate when you see Masjidil Haram in Mecca and Masjid Kok Lanas in my hometown ...
However, when you know the story on each of the wat, its amazing you know!

From my hotel to the Angkor Watt, they will charge you with 15 USD for the whole trip ... if you request to travel for some more places, you will be charged ...

Besides Angkor Wat, you can visit the Tonle Sape Lake ...
It will cost you maybe 10 USD for the tuk-tuk and around <30 USD for the boat to
the floating village ... I don't go here ... independent traveller & money!

The other place that will attract you is Cultural Village ... it cost you 1 - 2 USD for the tuk-tuk and the other <12 USD for the entrance ... Fadli (my travel mate) went here! ...

Well, now I'm in Phnom Penh ... I travelled here by bus, It cost me 4 USD, its a 6 - 7 hours bus ... Here in Phnom Penh we stayed with one local ... his name is Lim Pisith.

Since I'm having an allergic with food + dust + hot in Siem Rieap ... its make me feel uncomfortable to travel ... :P

I'll continue writing later ... next post ... Phnom Penh!

I went to GP and the doctor gave me few medicine for pain relieve and asked me to come back if there's nothing change in the next five days. On the weekend, I went to Cherating Beach with my lovely family and my right knee getting worse! I went see another GP and he told me this is normal and asked me to go for Physio for sort of massage.
