I am an Indipendent Traveller!

Assalamualaikum ...

I took MAS from Kuala Lumpur to Saigon ...
Reach Saigon at 1730 hours on 13 May 2010 ...
Abang Fadli had reached there at 1550 hours i think ...
Then we used to go to the hotel (Ngoc Thao Guest House)
by Hotel Pick Up ... unluckily we were charged for 15 USD ...
I thought it was cheap ...
We are stupid ... If we choose to go by taxi ...
we just need to pay at most 10 USD!

We stayed at the hostel for one night ...
What we do?
Just travelled around my hotel ...
and we went to Ben Than Market ...
Where we saw a lots of Malaysian there ...
huhuhu and even penjual2 pun pandai cakap Melayu ...
This become my un-favorite place ...

Tomorrow morning, we went out a little bit late ...
Having our breakfast at the hotel ...
(Vegetarian k!)
Then we used to walk to some places ...
The museum, the palace of indipendece ...
Nice places!

In the afternoon, we went to our Host house ...
I meet him through the couchsurfing.org
His name is Kha Lee, Medicine Student ...
He's vietnamese guy aged 19 years old ...
Beside us, there'll be another 2 surfers there ...
One Cambodian, Phisit (he will host us at phom penh) and
one French guy, Lawrance ...

I slept at this house for two nights ...
We took a bus from the city to his house ...
It was 30 minutes journey and cost us 3000 D ... (0.60 MYR!)
Siap bas air-cond lagi! Malaysia tak boleh lawan lah!
Our first night, Kha brought us to the local Coffee Shop (KOPITIAM)...
It was a very interesting place ...
Amazing! No-Foreigner at all!
I love it! ...
Its near to the Saigon International Airport ...
Some more, we hang out at the on-top of the building,
so we can see the entire airports!
Nice view! There's no place like this in Malaysia ... Im sure!

The next day, me and my friend went out early at 6am i think ...
We were accompanied by Phisit to Ho Chi Minh city centre ...
Me and fadli used to buy the tour ticket to Ghu Chi Tunnel ...
It cost us 5 USD for the tour and another 5 USD for the entrance ...
It was amazing! U'll see how hard and how good vietnamese facing the war against US
We also bought the bus ticket for Ho Chi Minh - Phom Penh - Siem Reap ...
It cost us 15 USD ... we are going to Cambodia!
So this whole day we were visiting the tunnel and have look around war museum ...
At 8pm we were back home ... its outside the city ...
Kha house area has no foreigner at all ...
Its amazing you know ...
At night, since Lawrance, another surfer from Fance join us in Kha house,
and plus, its his birthday, a day before he stayed with us, we used to celebrate his birthday! Happy birthday Lawrance! ...

The next morning, at 5.00 am we took bus and heading to Siem Reap ...
My bus was at 6.30 am and so Lawrance, his bus is at 7.00 am. Hes heading to Phom Penh ... even both of us share the same route to Cambodia, we were travelling seperately ... me and abang fadli were in the same bus ...
At the border, the staff of cambodia keep on looking at me ... several times,
he also used to check every page of my passport ... i dunno! Its really make me sweat! Akhirnya lepas jugak masuk ke Cambodia ...

It was 6 hours journey to Phom Penh and some more 6 - 7 hours to Sieam Reap ...
Im sweating! I dont take any meals ... sakit perut jadinye!
Luckily at one reataurant, I ate Nasi Putih + Telur Goreng + Acar ...
With Bismillahirrahmannirrahim ... Insyaallah, halal ... itu jek yang mampu aku makan ... walaupun aku ada nampak beberapa lauk yang tak boleh di makan ...
seperti anjing goreng, babi masak apa tah .... belalang goreng, kala jengking etc ...
telur jek mampu aku telan ... dan aku kata pada diorang aku ni vegetarian ...
tutup cerite! tak payah nak soal jawab ayam aku boleh makan tak etc ...

At 6.30 am my journey start, at 8.30 pm I reached Siem Reap ...
Last nite, I went out to city ...
Look nice but its not my preferrance ...
I dunno why, every shop can used the USD note ...
NO! This place is nice but Its not really attract me ...
This morning, I wake up a little bit late ...
Having breakfast ...
An omolette and bread and pisang that i bought last night ...
Abang Fadli went out as he wants to go to Cultural Village ...
Not me I think ...
I just planned to go to Angkor Watt tomorrow ...
Some more I have a very tight budget ...
Its long way to go ...
